Eleven years ago, my family relocated from the hectic lifestyle of a major city in Northern Virginia to the #1 place to live in the U.S. - Cary, North Carolina. This Peppie. A valuable member of my team. I rescued her 3 years ago. When I adopted Peppie, she had a sever case of heart worms and only weighed 45 pounds as a 2 year old adult. She is now a happy 75 pounds and all muscle and heart worm free.
If you are considering a pet this year, please consider adopting one of the many cats and dogs that are left at our local shelter. They would love a second chance at a forever home just like Peppie.
