Pat has been my real estate agent through two different transactions in the Triangle: the sale of a home and the purchase of another. Over the past 30 years, I have bought and sold several homes, in several states, so I have a lot of experience working with agents, especially in the context of relocation. None of my earlier experiences even remotely compares to the level of service provided by Pat. Selling a home, no matter how often one does it, is always stressful. In the context of relocation, or in the challenging economic climate of the past several years, that anxiety is multiplied. Beginning with the listing appointment, Pat’s experience as an agent and knowledge of the area and of the market were very obvious. Throughout the sale process, her clear advocacy of me as her client never waivered, and her patience with me was unfailing. From listing, to sale, to inspection, and through to the closing, she was consistently engaged, proactive, and supportive. She even showed up on moving day with food and related supplies for all!
The home I most recently purchased was new construction, a process fraught with many more challenges and frustrations than when purchasing an existing home. Builders are not easy to work with, and mine was particularly difficult. It was then that I gained real insight into Pat’s determination as an advocate, ensuring that I was well-represented and that issues were addressed and not just dismissed by the builder. In fact, when two issues arose in the early months after I had moved in, Pat resumed that role, unasked. Her philosophy is that her clients deserve her attention indefinitely, something I had never experienced in other such transactions. Her definition of service goes above and beyond what is typically expected or performed. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
